2012 Presidential Candidates
Herman Cain – Yes. Herman Cain supports and advocates for the FairTax. His solid past experience proves he is the most eligible candidate to bring the FairTax to fruition.
Gary Johnson – His support of the FairTax has been steadily growing over the past few months. Here is his latest:
Michelle Bachmann – Maybe. She has stated she is for ‘a fair tax’ (not The FairTax), and really doesn’t have any experience with the FairTax and doesn’t understand its inner workings.

Ben Stein – economist, and former actor (Bueller! Bueller!), a former “flat” taxer, Stein, after reading how the IRS invaded a family’s abode, had a revelation! (paraphrased) “The only way to ‘reign in’ the IRS is to get rid of it.”

I was listening to Stein this weekend on Fox and didn’t like what he had to say at all. He kept ranting that we need to increase taxes on businesses if we’re going to survive. I know he’s an economist and all, but that isn’t talk that a FairTaxer wants to hear. Thanks for your comments Daar!
Senator Dick Lugar from Indiana is a recent Co-sponsor.
Thanks Dan, I updated the page.
